How to Order

The Dot Generator is currently in the process of developing an easy to use automated ordering system. Our system should be fully operational in the near future. In the mean time, we invite you use our current ordering procees. This guide will help you get your print order started.

Step 1

New Clients

If you are a new client, download our New Client Packet. Please fill out all of the appropriate billing information and job specifications. Then fax these forms to our Customer Service Center at (562) 941-7051.

Returning Clients

If you are a returning client, your account information should be on file at our Customer Service Center. Returning clients can download an Order Form and submit just one form, provided all client information is up to date. Otherwise, download our New Client Packet. Please fill out all of the appropriate billing information and job specifications. Then fax this form to our Customer Service Center at (562) 941-7051.

Step 2

Select a method for which we can retrieve your printable files.

Walk-in

Walk-in file deliveries can be made between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, to the following address:

Acceptable media: CD-R, DVD-R, Zip 100, Zip 250

Mail

Your files may be sent by mail to the following address:

FTP

Files may be uploaded to our FTP server. Before submitting your final project, please compress your files into "Stuff It" or "Zip" archives.

Step 3

Once we've received your files, our prepress experts will inspect your artwork to ensure that you will receive the results you are expecting.

Step 4

When your files have been examined and are verified as "Ready for Press", we will contact you for proofing or approval to print.

Step 5

Once your job is sent to print, you can expect Standard projects to be shippable in 3-5 business days. Specialty projects can be expected to be ready for shipment in 5-7 business days, in most cases.
